Christian Bastardo

Founder & lead director: CRB Films, Raymond Studios, Prodigy Records

I am currently a college student with much ambition towards my creative journey. I seek to improve my camera operation, editing, and graphic design knowledge and techniques.

I currently do all of the studio work, which includes everything from brainstorming, project outlining, storyboarding, script development, production, and post-production. I love what I do and tell stories that will resonate with the audience with a deep emotional connection from sadness to humor. Thank you for stopping by!

Our Story

One summer day on June 23, 2015, a young 4th grader was at home in his room, bored of the mundane environment. As he scrolled through the app library on his iPhone 5, he discovered a peculiar yet tempting app., iMovie. This strange app allured the young boy, and he was soon introduced to the world of amateur filmmaking. But to him, the preset trailers seemed to be of Hollywood level expertise. This instantly captured his attention, and he was drawn towards the realm of filmmaking. After choosing to create the 'Thriller' preset trailer, he called upon his sister to act, and the filming began.

Early techniques of camera use, such as using his fingers to cover the lens as a way to control the iris, represented a young, creative mind at work. After filming, a name was needed for the credits. However, the young boy didn't formerly have a name, nor did he even consider the concept of starting his own studio. But after numerous options, one was selected, which captured the simplicity, boldness, and the personality of the boy. Christian Raymond Bastardo Films or CRB Films. This one short trailer ignited a passion for filmmaking the boy never knew he had before.

And so, as the years progressed, so did the amount of videos and experience. Today, CRB Films has expanded upon the artistic realm of creativity by adopting new studios such as Raymond Studios as well as Prodigy Records. That young boy was me, and I was destined to pursue film as a means to continue to tell meaningful stories that improve the human experience.
